In the shadow of the magnificent Trim Castle
Our restaurant is the result of four people with an avid love of good food, good times & good value.
Having both eaten out and worked in various establishments both in Ireland and abroad, the result ‘is not a Steakhouse but a restaurant that specialises in steaks'. We aim to provide our guests with not just a memorable dining experience but a memorable evening out.

In 2017 we extended our restaurant, adding a Cocktail Bar and additional seating for up to 40 guests. Towards the end of 2017, whilst observing a niche in the market in Trim for somewhere providing snappy and quirky Brunch/Lunch options and noticing a growing trend in people being more conscious about what they are eating, we decided to maximise the potential of our restaurant, and to open from 10.30am daily, serving Brunch/Lunch to complement our Dinner and Al La Carte evening menus. We brought on board two local fitness coaches to offer their expert advice, and designed a menu we believe will suit everyone’s tastes using only the freshest locally sourced ingredients.
We have also established ourselves as a go-to place for high-quality entertainment nights, having hosted some of Ireland's best known artists, such as Aslan’s Christy Dignam and Joe Jewell, Brian Kennedy and Frances Black, to name but a few, in an intimate setting. Head Chef Andy & his team have one goal in mind: to provide consistently good food at every serving.

With our front of house crew you are generally in safe hands, and we will always do our best to make sure all your needs are met as promptly and satisfactorily as possible. On arrival you will also see how our love for our historical town of Trim and county is evident everywhere in our restaurant from early years featuring ‘The Yellow Steeple’ and ‘Trim Castle’ through to the filming of Braveheart and the glory years of Meath football ... Check out our walls, as they make for interesting reading & viewing.
Enjoy. Carmel, Orla, Mick, Tom & all our team at StockHouse.
