It’s third time unlucky for Tom Cruise as he returns for another outing as top secret agent Ethan Hunt in ‘Mission Impossible: 3’…
This time around, Hunt is settled into domestic bliss with fiancée Julia (Michelle Monaghan), but is called back into action when a former colleague (Keri Russell) goes missing while tracking a dangerous arms dealer (Philip Seymour Hoffman).
Of course, we have the usual selection of high octane stunts, as well as a rather interesting look at how they make those fantastic replica masks, but it’s all rather average, and the lame romantic sub-plot does not help matters either. Overall, it’s not quite as silly as the second movie, but nowhere near as fun and inventive as the first…
‘Mission Impossible: 3’ is due to be released on DVD on November 6.
