THUNDERING DOWN

In 1982 three Derry brothers got together and formed an Irish folk band.

Thundering Down was born and became popular locally and in the Northwest of Ireland. The brothers are John, Eamon and Denis Mc Laughlin. The band have never stopped playing but it’s been over thirty years since they performed a concert in Derry.
