John McNicholl Magnificent Seven

Music fans are in for a treat on Saturday, 21st December, when the brilliant John McNicholl returns to the Alley by popular demand. This will be seven years in a row that the Foreglen singer will perform a Christmas special at the venue and there will also be a total of seven individuals performing on stage during the concert. John is regarded as one of the country’s top singers in the country and this three-hour concert will have something for all ages. He has appeared at sell-out shows all over England, Australia and America. He has also starred in many successful Mediterranean and Caribbean cruises. Top artistes he has shared the stage with include: Cliff Richard, Elton John, Reba McIntyre, Ricky Skaggs and Barry Gibb. John, who is known as ‘Ireland’s Ambassador of Country Music’, will perform many country classics and a selection of other popular songs, including Christmas numbers. Fans will also get the chance to hear him sing his latest single: The Brightest Road, which was written for him by Derek Ryan and is proving to be a resounding success throughout all parts of the country. John will be supported by Sharon Herron from Armagh, who is known as ‘The Cowboy’s Sweetheart’. She has appeared at top venues throughout the country, including the Belfast Waterfront. The compere will be Gary Wilson from Kesh in County Fermanagh, who was named comedian of the year at the Music City Country Awards ceremony.
