Ken Haddock in Concert

Type : Gigs

With Conor McCreanor on double bass, Colm McClean on guitar and Paul Hamilton on drums.

This May, join us at The Crescent as we welcome to the stage, the incredible singer, songwriter and guitarist Ken Haddock.

Born into the middle of a war zone that was north west Belfast during the late 60’s,70’s and 80’, Ken has lived to tell the tale.

He tells the story of his mainly adult life through the writing of songs. Although a gentle soul, he delivers these songs with one of the biggest voices you will ever hear.

His list of achievements is vast. Three albums of original songs exist to date; The Sweetest Hour, Almost and One Night in Willowfield. He has collaborated in writing with Foy Vance, Gareth Dunlop, Jules Maxwell, Olive Brodrick and Brian Houston and he sung on the heart wrenching score of Oscar nominated film, ‘Dance Lexie, Dance’.

Ken has made a living gigging long and hard in his home town Belfast. Along with numerous performances here in Northern Ireland, his International performances include tours in Europe and visits to Nashville and Texas where he performed in the round concerts with Guy Clarke and Nancy Griffith, Bruce Cockburn, Anthony Toner and Foy Vance.

With his distinctive voice and looming stage presence, you are in for a treat this May!
