An Droichead - Classes are back

An Droichead offer an extensive Irish Language Programme with a range of levels to suit all abilities. We provide three semesters each academic year that cost £50.00 each. Each semester lasts ten weeks. Details of new courses commencing can be found on the Ag Teacht Aníos page. Our next series of classes will commence week beginning 24th September. Ceardlanna Gaeilge do pháistí i mbunscoileanna béarla | Beginners irish for children in english medium schools

Satharn/Saturdays 10.30-11.30rn/am

These workshops have been designed for children in Primary 4 to Primary 7. These fun filled workshops will children the basic understanding of the Irish language and teach them basic conversation in a fun and interactive way. No pencil or paper required. These workshops are delivered by a fully qualified teacher.

Pacáiste cuimsitheach Gaeilge thar dhá lá a bhfuil réimse leibhéil ann le freastal a dhéanamh ar chumais éagsúla, idir ghlan-tosaitheoirí agus Ghaeilgeoirí líofa. Beidh tú tumtha sa Ghaeilge anseo in An Droichead mar a bhfuil an Ghaeilge beo beathach agus ina cuid den ghnáth-shaol laethúil.

A two-day comprehensive Irish language package consisting of a range of levels to suit all abilities, from the complete beginner to the fluent speaker. Immerse yourself in our Irish language setting where an Ghaeilge is alive and kicking, and part of everyday life here at An Droichead.

Ciorcal Comhrá sa Dirty Onion/Coversation Circle in the Dirty Onion

Luain/Monday 8.00-10.00

The conversation circle is facilitated by An Droichead tutor who will encourage you to use your cúpla focal. A different theme will be discussed each week. Call in for a pint and a comhrá as Gaeilge by the fireside. A traditional music session will follow.
