vening Dance

Travel back in time to the 1920’s at our Peaky Blinders Dance with The Volstead Orchestra, a London based jazz band capturing the looks and sounds of the 1920s & 1930s.

Merging elements of American prohibition and depression era jazz and blues with the sounds of European cafes and hot club bands, this will be a vintage night to remember, supported by the great DJ Sizzling Jim.

Put on your finest 1920s glad rags and come down to enjoy the fun!

Twenties Tea Dance & Lessons

Get ready for our Peaky Blinders Dance with a few dance lessons. As part of the afternoon’s entertainment experienced swing dance teacher Andrew Hall and Claire McQuillan will be running three short simple and fun beginner’s classes for dances of the period. Firstly to get you on the dance floor probably the easiest dance you can ever learn, the One Step. Perfect for anyone who’s completely new to partner dancing and dance classes and a great place to start. Then Solo Charleston, the perfect party dance from the 1920s, just let yourself go. And finally for the last class we will put it all together for the Partner Charleston.

Tickets will be £5.00 each if you have tickets for the evening or £7.00 if you just wish to have the dance lessons
