Bastille: French Cuisine In Belfast

A charming new restaurant has opened in Belfast offering lovers of gastronomy an opportunity to taste authentic French cuisine in Northern Ireland, writes Carla Liébana.
Bastille, on the Lisburn Road, allows the customer to enjoy a great eating experience, surrounded by polite staff in comfortable surrounding.
Bastille is decorated in an updated Parisian style and elegantly blends the red and the creamy colours in order to achieve a romantic and intimate atmosphere, with a softly-lit interior.
A welcoming venue that reflects the 'simplicité' of the style of its cooking.
The chef, Conor MacCann, considers precisely this value as one of the characteristics of their food, prepared with fresh products that guarantee the quality of their courses.
Mr MacCann, has used his creativity to create the Bastille-style "pur et simple" to satisfy all tastes, mixing classic French cooking with a modern twist.
The restaurant is opened seven days of the week, from noon to 10pm and offers an affordable menu for lunch and a more refined 'carte' for the evening, which includes exquisite entrées and fish and meals as a main courses - accompanied by a wide range of quality wines.
Moreover, during these first weeks, there is an introductory offer that includes two courses for £12 and three courses for £15 from a selected menu.
