The Piatti Quartet

Prize-winners at the 2015 Wigmore Hall International String Quartet Competition, The Piatti Quartet are amongst the UK’s foremost young ensembles with a host of awards and critically acclaimed recordings. The Quartet has toured worldwide including performances in prestigious venues such as Wigmore Hall. Their recording of Mendelsohn’s complete string was BBC Music Magazine’s Critic’s Choice [2014].

A busy current season has included a debut in Istanbul, tours of Scotland and Ireland, and a new CD recording. Recent collaborations include concerts with Michael Collins, Moray Welsh, and Rebecca Gilliver. The varied programme will feature works by Mozart, Webern, Wolf and Brahms.
