declann erneyBorn in the heart of Ireland in Drumlish, Co. Longford Declan Nerney is one of the biggest names in the Irish Country music scene. Reared on a musical diet of the showbands, Declan caught his first break aged 16 when he was invited to step in with local Roscommon/Longford showband The Hi-Lo’s. Stints with the Gene Stuart Band and Brian Coll and The Buckaroos followed before he made to decision to start his own band in the late ‘80’s.
Since then he has enjoyed incredible success building a huge following not only in Ireland but in England and Scotland too. His trademark falsetto singing voice and great musical ability combine to produce that trademark Declan Nerney sound which has made him one of the most sought after Irish Country music artists.
