An Audience with Dan Cruickshank

TV presenter, author and architectural historian Dan Cruickshank is more than a seasoned traveller. He has explored places that most of us only dream of. For his celebrated TV series Around The World In 80 Treasures he journeyed through 36 countries in four and a half months on a quest to tell the story of civilisation through some of man’s greatest achievements.

He stood before the solemn heads of Easter Island, investigated the mysterious Nazca lines in Peru and the magnificent temple of Borobodur in Java.

Dan’s travels explored the origins, construction and mysteries of some of the most extraordinary monuments known to man and their connections to the great civilisations of the world. Dan, who has also written a number of highly regarded books, is a guest speaker at The Destinations Luxury Travel Show.
