Rolling Stone named Dave Matthews Band’s 2014 run as one of the hottest summer tours, observing how the change “resulted in plenty of surprises,” and The Atlanta Journal noted, “the stage is where DMB built its empire and where the band remains master of its domain…DMB deserves kudos for always bringing their A-game to the stage.” In response to the two-set show last year, The Charlotte Observer said, “Even when it’s Dave Matthews opening for Dave Matthews, there can’t be enough Dave Matthews in a night.”

With a career spanning more than 20 years, Dave Matthews Band is one of the most influential bands in rock history. Formed in Charlottesville, Va in 1991, Dave Matthews Band’s infectious and distinctive sound garnered lots of early attention and a die-hard loyal fan base, catapulting the band into one of the most successful touring acts of the past two decades. Dave Matthews Band has sold a collective 38 million CDs and DVDs combined. The group is currently in the studio with producer Rob Cavallo, working on the follow up to Away From The World, which entered the Billboard 200 at No. 1 in 2012. Dave Matthews Band is the first group in history to have six consecutive studio albums debut atop the chart. The band ranked as the biggest ticket seller worldwide of the past decade and has sold over 19 million tickets since its inception.
