St Patrick's Day celebrations

Type : Festivals

This year celebrate St Patrick's Day in Belfast by making the most of the music, dance, heritage, sport and a carnival atmosphere.

From 10 to 17 March you'll have a choice of music, tours, walks, and family fun at the Féile an Earraigh (Spring Festival) in the Gaeltacht Quarter and Writers' Square. And in the weekend leading up to St Patrick's Day, head to St George's Market for Irish dancers and some hearty Irish stew.

St Patrick's Day itself starts with the SPAR Craic 10K run from City Hall to the Titanic Quarter building up to the highlight of the day, the St Patrick's Carnival and Concert. The colourful parade leaves City Hall and winds its way through to Custom House Square where there's an afternoon concert.
