Lisnagarvey Operatic Society presents one of its most ambitious projects to date – the Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice classic: “Jesus Christ Superstar”. Garnering the writers both plaudits and controversy upon its release in the early 1970s, Jesus Christ Superstar is now regarded as one of the masterpieces of modern musical theatre and features many of Lloyd Webber’s best loved songs including ‘Superstar’, ‘I Don’t Know How to Love Him’ and ‘Gethsemane’.
