This is Ireland, pre ‘Credit Union’ days. A time when the pawn shop was the only place people could get a ‘len’ to see them through to Friday and pay day. Jim’s suit, tailor made by himself, is in the pawn, where it has resided from Monday to Saturday for the last two years. Kitty, his downtrodden wife, is thrown into panic when Jim comes home on Tuesday and tells her to iron it for a ‘do’ he is going to that night.

Chaotic, irreverent and downright funny, ME DA’S SUIT is the everyday story of the McLaughlin family, struggling to make ends meet in the middle of the troubles. Featuring a cast that includes a well-known Ballybofey actor Jack Quinn.
