Suzi Quatro was the first female bass player to become a major Rock Star. She had a succession of hit singles in the 1970’s including Can The Can, 48 Crash and Devil Gate Drive and conntinues to perform live across the world.

Quatro moved to the UK in 1971 after being spotted by record producer, Mickie Most. Suzi Quatro has been a direct influence on many other leading female musicians including Chrissie Hynde (The Pretenders), Tina Weymouth (Talking Heads/ Tom Tom Club), Joan Jett and KT Tunstall.
