For those who wish to visit during normal opening hours over the holiday period why not join us for our Halloween Family Fun days programme, if you are brave enough?.......Storytelling, traditional Halloween games and food sampling are just a taster of what is on offer.

Halloween Fun Weekend programme:

Halloween Family Fun 25th to 31st October (during normal opening hours - museum closed on Monday 27th October)

Tullyallen Masshouse - Storytelling by the fireside.
School House - Traditional halloween games.
Campbell House - A harvest theme. The last sheaf. Harvest knots. Eg., burning nuts, apple peel, ivy poem etc.
Mellon House - History of halloween foods and sampling.
Meeting House - Harvest decorations.
Weavers Cottage - Fortune telling.
Ship Gallery - Halloween mask making for children.
General Store - Harvest home display of american autumn fruits and vegetables.
Log Cabin - Apple dolls display & popcorn making.
Pennsylvania Farm House - Food for the harvest home. Samples of shoofly & pumpkin pie.
Western Pennsylvania Farmhouse - Pumpkin sculpture demonstration & display.
