This comedy set in a nursing home somewhere in Northern Ireland will strike a sensitive chord, enabling you to laugh with rather that at some of life’s more colourful characters.

James Allen and Henry Flannigan meet by chance and discover that although they are very different characters from different walks of life, they share the surnames of famous music hall stars, Flanagan and Allen.

They decide to exploit their ‘music talents,’ but not everyone in the nursing home shares Flannigan and Allen’s new-found enthusiasm and musical aspirations....

Made up entirely of volunteers, Gilford’s Stage Aid Music & Drama Society raises money for Third World charities by staging high quality productions with the minimum of expense.
