Cara Dillon
Special Guest Dan Tyminski
11 October 2014

One of the world’s best voices, Irish folk singer Cara Dillon performs songs from her new, critically acclaimed album ‘A Thousand Hearts’ together with a selection of favourites.

Cara Dillon first made waves in 2001, with her eponymous solo album which went on to win two BBC Folk Awards. Two further successful albums showered her with countless more accolades and acclaim, but it was her fourth album, ‘Hill Of Thieves,’ that eclipsed them all by winning BBC Folk Album Of The Year in 2010.

Cara has subsequently performed all over the world with her renowned line‐up of musicians and a host of others.

Supporting Cara will be very special guest Dan Tyminski. Highly regarded as a core member of multi Grammy winning Alison Krauss’ band Union Station, Tyminski was the singing voice of George Clooney in the Coen Brothers movie ‘O Brother, Where Art Thou?’ and also featured on the global, million selling hit ‘Hey Brother’ for Swedish electronic dance artist, Avicii.

Cara and Dan first performed together as part of the critically acclaimed Transatlantic Sessions tour.
