Part of the Clandeboye Festival by Camerata Ireland

Five Fables, translated by Seamus Heaney, was recently animated for an enchanting BBC Northern Ireland series. The superb score for chamber orchestra is composed and conducted by Barry Douglas. In this unique event, Barry, together with players from Camerata Ireland, will play the score alongside a screening of the animations with special guest Adrian Dunbar narrating from Heaney’s gorgeous text, all compered by BBC Arts journalist Marie-Louise Muir.

A truly unique festival event for everyone - from young people, maybe hearing classical music for the first time, to the many admirers of Heaney’s wonderful prose.

Booking takes place through the Grand Opera House Belfast (http://www.goh.co.uk/clandeboye-festival) on 028 9024 1919 or online (http://www.goh.co.uk/clandeboye-festival)
