WESTEXPO - it's about people!

What makes the West of Ireland so special is it's people - it's artists, entrepreneurs, educators, foodies, musicians, fashionistas - you name it, all imbued with a sense of spirit as powerful as the Wild Atlantic itself.

WestExpo will bring the magic of the West of Ireland under one roof in Dublin's premier exhibition arena for the first time ever, in a wonderful celebration of life on the West Coast - from Donegal to Kerry.

Visitors to the Expo will see first hand what the West has to offer for holidays and breaks, experience the arts, culture and food of the region, and discover the brilliant new businesses and educational opportunities that are to be found on our West Coast.

The Expo will also shine a light on the West of Ireland both nationally and internationally. International journalists will be brought to the Expo arena to sample what's happening in the West of Ireland and major topics will be discussed in our conference arena on topics relating to the West.

Urraithe ag Údarás na Gaeltachta agus eagraithe ag comhlacht cumarsáide Gaeltachta, MeasMedia, is cinnte go mbeidh béim faoi leith ar thábhacht na Gaeilge agus na Gaeltachta don Iarthar i WestExpo.

Beidh cultúr na teanga á chur i láthair ins na h-imeachtaí ealaíne agus ceoil agus beidh tús áite á thabhairt d'eagrais atá ag iarraidh deiseanna foghlaime a thabhairt do dhaoine fásta nó do dhaltaí óga - chun iad a mhealladh le seal a chaitheamh inár measc sa nGaeltacht.

Tá fiontraíocht na Gaeilge ag méadú as cuimhse freisin le blianta beag anuas agus beidh saol gnó agus fiontraíochta na h-áite thiar le feiceáil ag an domhain mhór san RDS, Baile Átha Cliath, ar an 21ú agus 22ú Feabhra, 2015.
