Type : Concerts

The internationally renowned composer and pianist, Phil Coulter, performs at the Ulster Hall for the first time with Donaghadee Male Voice Choir

As a writer, Phil Coulter enjoyed his greatest success after teaming up with collaborator
Bill Martin to pen some of the biggest pop hits of the Sixties, including Sandie Shaw's
Eurovision-winning Puppet on a String and Cliff Richard’s Congratulations. He also
wrote a string of smash hits for the Bay City Rollers.

He remained drawn to the Irish folk influences of his youth, working with the
Dubliners, Planxty and the Furey Brothers, before performing and recording in his own
right and becoming the best-selling Irish artist of his generation.
