Headlining HM 05 is the hotly tipped singer songwriter Ciaran Lavery with his full band! It would be an understatement to say things have been going well for Ciaran recently- with the successful release of his EP Kosher and over one million listens to his songs on Spotify he undoubtably is one of Ireland’s top unsigned artists. Ciaran has been described as “a songwriter of real note, with a voice that makes the hairs on the back of your neck stand up. A truly unique talent” by BBC’s Ralph McLean, and “an artist who clearly lives and breathes his craft” by The Thin Air. SPIES

Hailing from Dublin, our main support on the night comes from high tempo, indie-rock five piece SPIES. Since their inception they’ve been making waves- they’ve had their music played by Zane Lowe on Radio 1 many times, been picked as The Guardian's New Band of the Day and have most recently been selected as an NME Radar pick. With riffs reminiscent of early Editors, Coldplay and Joy Division these lads are a treat to experience live and will be at the top of their game just before the release of their single ‘Moosehead’ on August 4!

Runabay

Opening Hidden Machine 05 is the mellow and loving Cushendall based folk band Runabay! Fronted by John McManus the band are a tightly knit unit of accomplished and talented musicians able to send you into a state of pure exhilaration with their uplifting and joyous music. Their new single ‘Sequences’ was recorded in Start Together Studios in Belfast and was released on July 9 for free download.
