Cave Hill’s ‘Game of Thrones’ Ancient king maker processional walk to McArt’s Fort

Join archaeologist Cormac McSparron as he reveals an ancient route to McArt’s Fort, an inauguration site where Celtic kings were crowned. It’s where Throne Wood and the old Throne hospital get their names and is Cave Hill’s answer to Game of Thrones! This walk will start from Ballyaghagan car park and will take in some of the fantastic archaeological features of Cave Hill.
