Walk: The World of Butterflies and Moths

Time: Friday night at 7pm, Saturday morning at 10am
Venue: Meet at Lock Keeper’s Cottage

Join Lagan Valley Regional Park staff, and the Butterfly Conservation Officer for Northern Ireland, to learn all about moths and butterflies.

At 7pm there with be a short talk and you will have the opportunity to adopt a moth trap for the night. The moth traps draw the moths in to rest for the night. Then join us again at 10am on Saturday morning to discover the moths that have been trapped and set them free. You'll then go on a short walk to take part in the National Big Butterfly Count.
