We Were Promised Jetpacks

Citing fellow countrymen Biffy Clyro as influences, Scottish rockers We Were Promised Jetpacks emerged in the footsteps of early labelmates Frightened Rabbit and The Twilight Sad, soaring aural heights and mining emotional depths.

Half bracing post-punk and half tuneful indie pop, the Edinburgh four-piece followed up their accomplished debut album with their second full-length in 2011, the acclaimed In the Pit of the Stomach.

Support comes from Glasgow-based foursome Fatherson, who have been making waves in the Scottish music scene following a string of high profile shows with bands such as Panic! at the Disco, Feeder, Twin Atlantic and Idlewild.
