DBC Pierre - CQAF

Known for his dark comedy, swift satire and apposite allegories on modern life, DBC Pierre worked as a designer, film-maker and cartoonist before his first novel Vernon God Little erupted just before his 40th birthday and went on to win the Man Booker, Whitbread First Novel and Bollinger Everyman Woodhouse prizes.

Success and critical acclaim has followed each subsequent work including Ludmila’s Broken English, Lights Out in Wonderland, Petit Mal and the forthcoming Breakfast with the Borgias.

DBC Pierre was born in 1961 in Reynella, Australia. He was brought up in Mexico and the UK, and now lives in Ireland.
