Ciaran’s performance at Flowerfield as part of the line-up for the Atlantic Sessions Festival in 2013 was little short of spine-tingling, and we are delighted to welcome him back for a concert in his own right.

Hailing from the small Northern Irish village of Aghagallon, population 824, alt-folk troubadour Ciaran has found a way to channel the quiet despair of isolation into timeless songs of beauty and heartache on his celebrated debut full-length album Not Nearly Dark.

Following the critical success of the You Will Be a Stranger Now and The Maker of Things EPs, the former Captain Kennedy frontman has come into his own as a solo artist, finding a nice somewhere between the desperate longing of Bon Iver, the ruggedness of Tom Waits and the wanderlust of Ray Lamontagne.
