Wedding Fever

Following last year’s sell out performance, Glen Theatre Drama Group are back again with another of Sam Cree's hilarious comedies, ‘Wedding Fever’. The play tells the story of a quiet man who works hard on the railway to follow his love of football. Along with his wife Sadie they have two children, Davy and Myra who is madly in love with Dennis Hall. The play follows the family through the engagement of Myra to Dennis, the planning for the wedding and meeting the in laws which proves to be a traumatic experience.



Dennis is a farmer's son who has a very demanding, imposing mother, Mary, and the mixing of the two families reveals to be very interesting. Family relatives from America arrive during the preparations namely Georgina and her husband, Hirium P Hingleheifer but the question is will the wedding happen and does everything run smoothly?
