Giro d'Italia: Big Start

Belfast is hosting the Giro d'Italia Big Start (Grande Partenza) with three days of unmissable cycling action from 8 to 10 May 2014. The Giro d'Italia is one of the world's greatest cycling events, second only to the Tour de France. We're planning an exciting programme of events and activities during the races, worthy of the prized maglia rosa (the pink jersey).

Over 200 of the top professional cyclists from across the globe will be in Northern Ireland to compete and an estimated 12.5 million spectators will watch live coverage over the full three weeks of the event.
