The Kilkennys are at the very forefront of the new generation of folk groups taking Irish music to the world. Having already toured this year in Europe, the U.S. and Australia, the reputation of this youthful and energetic four piece group continues to grow well beyond these shores.
Enniskillen audiences will be familiar with The Kilkennys’ previous appearance when they performed, to rave reviews, the music of The Clancy Brothers and Tommy Makem, however, this performance will bring the group’s own brand of folk and ballad music to Enniskillen for the first time. From The Dubliners to The Fureys, The Clancy Brothers to The Wolfe Tones, as well as The Kilkennys’ own material, this show features the very best that the Irish folk and ballad tradition has to offer.
