The Seekers 50th Anniversary Farewell Tour

Type : Concerts

Rescheduled concert
20 May 2014

This concert has been rescheduled from 8 October 2013. Tickets from the original concert date remain valid for this new date.

Following a successful sell out run in their native Australia, the pop quartet comprising Judith Durham (vocals, piano, tambourine), Athol Guy (double bass, vocals), Keith Potger (guitar, banjo, vocals) and Bruce Woodley (guitar, mandolin, banjo, vocals) have announced a 10-date tour this autumn.

Best known for their string of hits in the 1960s, “I’ll Never Find Another You, “A World Of Our Own”, “Morningtown Ride”, “Someday, One Day” and “Georgy Girl”, The Seekers are the only surviving chart-topping band from the era with all their original founding members.

The Seekers hold the distinction of being the first group ever to Reach Number One on the UK Charts With their first three singles. Having sold over 60 million records globally, their success wasn’t only enjoyed in Australia and the UK but also in the USA; they were the first Australian group to reach Number One.

Fifty years on, The Seekers are still touching the hearts and souls of fans – some who’ve been with them from the very start – and some who’ve hopped on board along the way.
