Happy Days Enniskillen International Annual Beckett Festival

The world's largest annual multi-arts celebration of Irish Nobel Prize writer, Samuel Beckett takes place over the August Bank Holiday weekend. The inaugural festival took place in August 2012 to worldwide critical acclaim so once again, the island town of Enniskillen, where Beckett attended Portora Royal School, will be transformed into Beckett Town for five days, with a festival programme that will take over the entire town and beyond. The programme will range widely across Beckett's work and inspirations, and will include a diverse mix of international theatre, music, art exhibitions and installations, and literary talks and readings and the return of the sports programme, 'Bend It Like Beckett'.

This year's Festival will also inlcude a whole new 'Fooling Around Beckett' (FAB) programme featuring acts of french mime, cirque, clown, music hall and slapstick, culminating in the first Happy Days Carnivale, a Sunday afternoon street parade through Enniskillen for all the family to enjoy.
