Getting To Know: VerseChrousVerse

The next ‘Getting To Know...’ will continue in June with the talented and determined Northern Irish songwriter VerseChorusVerse (aka Tony Wright).



Over the last year or so the former member of And So I Watch You From Afar has been working tirelessly on his debut album, and he is just about ready to reveal the contents.

Two exclusive gigs are planned for Dublin and Belfast in June, and the album will be offered to fans as early as July through Pledge Music. The album will go on general release in September, and will be accompanied by a tour which will feature members of Lafaro and the recently retired General Fiasco.

Since going it alone Tony has received endorsements from the likes of IAIN ARCHER (Ivor Novello winner, Tired Pony, ex-Snow Patrol), DANIEL JOHNSTON, WILLIAM ELLIOT WHITMORE (Anti- Records), MICHAEL KIWANUKA (Polydor, BBC Sound of 2012 winner) and JAMES YORKSTON (Domino, Fence Collective).

With all this ahead of him Oh Yeah are delighted that Tony will be joining us for a live and exclusive interview to talk about his music and plans for the future. We’re even hoping for an acoustic treat or two from the upcoming album.
