Kennedy's Children

To mark the 50th anniversary of the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, Centre Stage Theatre Company presents Robert Patrick’s award-winning play Kennedy's Children in the Baby Grand Studio at the Grand Opera House.

The theme is the death of the idea of heroes as guides for our lives. 'They can't even imagine anyone like him now...they are used to the idea that the world is just a swamp of violence, greed, crooked politics and unexpected death and ugliness everywhere.

They can't understand that there was a time when everyone loved someone bigger and better than other people, everyone in the whole world loved him...all - but one...'

Roma Tomelty leads a powerful Ulster company in this strident, funny and moving play. Please note that Kennedy's Children will take place in The Baby Grand Studio at the Grand Opera House.
