Derek Ryan’s rise to become one of the biggest stars of Irish Country music has been phenomenal. In just over two years few artists have made such an impact on the Irish country scene like the Co. Carlow singer songwriter. Having played to sell out concert audiences around the world with D-Side, the young heartthrob has brought a distinctive fresh sound to Irish country.

Despite the high energy vibe he creates amongst the hundreds of light footed dancers that follow him around the Irish heartland each week, Derek Ryan is equally at home in the intimate setting of a live concert. His theatre shows contain much of the music featured on his three albums along with new material that allows him to show off his guitar playing and exposing his vocal quality.
