Directed by Martin Lynch
From the team that brought us ‘Dancing Shoes – The George Best Story’, Fifty Shades of Red, White and Blue tells the story of loveable Maggie Muff and her search for love, featuring laugh-out-loud characters such as big Sally Ann, Sinead the Greener and of course, the mysterious Mr Red White and Blue himself.
Maggie’s Facebook postings had Northern Ireland in fits of laughter last summer. It all started as a joke when Leesa Harker wrote a Belfast-based spoof of Fifty Shades of Grey. Very soon it went viral and had 29,000 followers!
Hitting the Belfast stage in January 2013 Maggie Muff, Big Sally Ann and Mr Red White & Blue sold out all 9,000 seats. If we were to say this is a laugh-a-minute evening we would be telling lies – it’s literally non-stop laughter!
NB Warning this show contains adult humour and strong language.
“There isn’t much to laugh about these days so do yourself a favour, get a tickets for 50 Shades of Red White & Blue…..Go see for yourself you won’t be disappointed”.
Anne Hailes, Irish News
“The two hours flashed past, this show is well worth seeing”.
