After years of singing in cover bands, and working with some of the best musicians in Northern Ireland, Amanda St John is finally set to release her debut solo EP ‘Where is the Man’.

Over the years, Amanda has collaborated with a number of renowned Northern Irish
musicians, working with Duke Special, Ben Glover, Simon McBride, and Ciaran Gribbin,
who described her as “a wonderful songwriter with a truly stunning voice”.

This dynamic singer has been performing live with acoustic ensembles and cover bands since the age of 14, and has built up her reputation as a live artist by performing all over the country. Her performance at the BelNash 2013 festival was a sell-out, as was her gig with Bap Kennedy at the Holywood festival. The EP Launch gig at the Black Box at the end
of May will showcase songs from the new release, as well as her repertoire of self-penned soul and blues grooves.

The EP was produced by acclaimed sing-songwriter/producer Gareth Dunlop (who also provides backing vocals on the record) and was mastered by Grammy Award winning Nashville Engineer, Charles Yingling.
