Limavady Jazz and Blues Festival - Crow Black Chicken

Crow Black Chicken are a three piece rock/blues band from Ireland’s deep south. Christy O’Hanlon on vocals and guitar,Stephen McGrath on bass and Gev Barrett on drums. The band formed in 2009 as a blues cover band and soon began writing their own material. In June 2012 the band recorded and released their debut album entitled Electric Soup was recorded live over the space of 5 days. The album received a good response in many quarters, and featured in a full page spread of Classic Rock Blues Magazine. Currently working on album number two the band have been described as ‘one to watch’ for 2013.
