As a singer songwriter Maeve Dunphy offers songs which range in style mixed from blues to jazz, soul to funk, and hints of country. Maeve plays a mean guitar and sings passionately with a warm, humorous and invigorating onstage presence. Maeve, who hails from Omagh, has been gigging in pubs and clubs all over Ireland, and in 2012 released her first album ‘Scarlet’ to critical acclaim. She will be backed by her regular band featuring guitar, bass and drums. The support act for the evening is the ‘Hot Tamales’ an acoustic duo from north Donegal playing classic Americana and blues material from Dylan, Guthrie, Waits, etc.
