Ardhowen Theatre welcomes back blues guitar legend Ronnie Greer who has been at the centre of the blues music scene in Ireland now for over 40 years, having shared the stage with some of the greatest names in the genre, including Dr John, Sonny Terry and Brownie McGhee, Lowell Fulson and Memphis Slim, to name but a few.

His distinctive guitar style, melding searing Chicago style licks with be bop jazz inflections, has been critically acclaimed as world class. His band, comprising of outstanding singer/guitarist Anthony Toner, keyboard wizard John McCullough, bass player Alan Hunter and drummer Colm Fitzpatrick, operate on a level which has to be heard to be appreciated.

Add to the mix on this gig, special guests, trumpeter Linley Hamilton, one of the very best musicians in the country, and exciting new singer from South Carolina, the brilliant Dana Masters, and you have the recipe for a great night of blues, roots, soul and jazz based music, played with style and conviction by the best in the business.
