A spectacular, smash-hit family musical, Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice’s Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat is brimming with magic, non-stop action, laughter and infectious fun that is sure to delight the young and the young at heart

The exhilarating score encompasses a myriad of musical styles from rock 'n' roll and Honky Tonk through to Calypso and Country & Western. Unforgettable numbers include Close Every Door, Go Go Go Joseph, One More Angel in Heaven, and, of course, Any Dream Will Do.

Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat is loosely based on the bible story. Joseph is given a dazzling Technicolor Dreamcoat by his father Jacob. Driven by jealousy for their father's apparent favoritism, Joseph's eleven brothers sell him into a life of slavery.

Things continue to look bleak for Joseph when he ends up in jail but his unusual talent for interpreting dreams becomes ticket to a better life when he is called upon to analyse the dreams of the great Pharaoh. Impressed by Joseph's predictions, Pharaoh promotes Joseph to be his right-hand man.

Accompanied by a 10-piece orchestra, Lights Up Theatre Company makes its debut on the Riverside Stage with a flourish in this unmissable masterpiece of a musical!
