The Factory Girls

Frank McGuinness’ ‘The Factory Girls’ was first produced in The Abbey Theatre, Dublin and is here presented by Millennium Forum Productions. It tells the story of five women facing the threat of redundancy who stage a lock-in in a shirt factory in Co. Donegal when faced with losing their jobs.

A truly realistic play filled with humour, charm, fine acting and staging; these ‘girls’ may never get back their jobs, but their brief adventure has brought each of them the insight that will give them the courage to soldier on.
