A Viennese Strauss Gala

Recreating the nostalgia and romance of the Viennese Festive season, this show introduces the
audience to a bygone age of glamorous soirees and Strauss waltzes, and comprises highlights from
some of the great operettas of Strauss, Kalman and Lehar, including ‘Die Fledermaus’, ‘The Merry
Widow’, and many more.

This fascinating show, which has received rave reviews and delighted audiences all over the
country, is performed by soloists from major British Opera companies, such as Welsh National
Opera, D’Oyly Carte and Scottish Opera. The show will feature internationally renowned soprano
Megan Llewelyn whose recent roles include Mother Abbess in ‘The Sound of Music’ and Carlotta
in the West End production of ‘The Phantom Of The Opera’. This beautifully crafted production
is cleverly choreographed, tastefully costumed, magnificently sung, and gives the audience an
authentic feel of a festive Viennese evening.
