ENNIO MORRICONE ANNOUNCES HIS LAST EVER IRISH CONCERT

THE MAESTRO RETIRES FROM INTERNATIONAL TOURING - FAREWELL TO IRELAND

World famous Italian film composer Ennio Morricone announced today that he will perform a farewell concert at Dublin’s 3Arena on Saturday 23 September.

He will not return again as he turns ninety years of age this year.

Tickets will go on sale this Friday 27 January at 9am via Ticketmaster.

The Maestro says: “I have been moved by the passion for my music and the appreciation shown by Irish audiences on previous visits. I must play one final show in Dublin before I retire. I expect this to be an emotional and very special evening for all".

The announcement follows a hugely successful European arena tour last year, which featured an unforgettable sold out 3Arena date marking his 60-year anniversary as a professional composer and conductor.

As with previous tours, the production coming to 3Arena will feature over 200 musicians and singers on stage.
