The RTE ConTempo String Quartet

One of the most exciting and vibrant chamber ensembles performing today, the ConTempo String Quartet is currently RTE’s Quartet in Residence and has been praised as a ‘fabulous foursome’ by the Irish Independent and ‘full of imaginative daring’ by the Irish Times. They perform worldwide and Music in Fermanagh’s audience was enthralled by their energy when they played at The Ardhowen in 2015.
They will play: Haydn - String quartet op 76 no 3, Bartok - Romanian Dances, Beethoven - String Quartet op 59, no 1, ‘Razumovsky'. They will also play the world premiere of a new piece by John McLachan, introduced by the composer himself.
