The Whistlin Donkeys

After an enjoyable visit to Strule Arts Centre in March 2016, The Whistlin Donkeys have been busy headlining the St Patrick's Day celebrations in Time Square, New York, Heading Memorial Day events in East Durham and the Catskills New York and Boston Irish festival.

The Whistlin Donkeys have shared the stage alongside The Beach Boys, Smokie, Bagatelle, The Dubliners, Shane Filan and many more and were the liners on many festivals throughout Ireland this Summer. They make a return to Strule Arts Centre for an evening of traditional Irish Rock/Folk Music on Tuesday 27 December. Joining The Whistlin Donkeys will be the Samoisa Irish Dancers. Throughout the evening the Donkeys will feature some hits from their last top selling album 'Sung Like A Donkey' and for the first time they will play a number of tracks from their forthcoming album 'An Irish Song Book' and of course a mix of old favourites.
