Join BelleHoppers as we welcome one of the hottest blues bands in the country to The Empire Music Hall.


Featuring musicians from Ireland, France and the US, Cork based ONE HORSE PONY are a high-energy, hard driving band who promise to bring you some of the finest foot-tappin’ blues that you’ll ever hear.

Citing influences such as CW Stoneking and Blind Lemon Jefferson, among others, they combine acoustic instruments, harmonica licks, strong vocal harmonies, alongside an uncompromising drive to deliver their stomping live shows which have won them fans all over the world through their many festival appearances.

They have shared the bill with artists such as The Blind Boys of Alabama and performed at Electric Picnic, the Guinness Jazz Festival, Kilkenny Roots Festival, Townlands Carnival, Indiependence, The 7 Hills Blues Festival in Armagh, with upcoming gigs in France and the Cork Jazz Festival to look forward to.

One Horse Pony, have topped the iTunes Blues Chart with their single ‘Staring Blues’. Their current album, ‘Blue When I Go’ is available on iTunes.
