JOE O'SULLIVAN

Type : Gigs

Following on from his debut at The Belfast Empire last year, Joe O’Sullivan is back with a full live band to play what is set to be another fantastic show this November. The Bangor based singer-songwriter, who by day is Professor of Oncology at Queen’s University and Clinical Director of the Cancer Centre, will be joined by his bandmates Lyn McMullan, Laurence Dugan and John Trinder to play songs from his debut album, as well as showcase some brand new material.

Inspired by his work and the patients and stories he sees played out in the hospital every day, his debut album, Take a Deep Breath, has earned Joe an ever growing fan base with songs which are honest, moving and a lesson in appreciating what really matters in life. What’s more, all proceeds from the show are in aid of local charity Friends of the Cancer Centre, which supports the very patients Joe treats. A show not to be missed.
