Violinist Jennifer Murphy is quickly gaining recognition as a creative and charismatic young performer. As a soloist and chamber musician, she has performed throughout Europe and North America, including London’s Wigmore Hall and Barbican Centre. Recent solo engagements include a performance of Schnittke Concerto Grosso No.1 under the direction of Joel Sachs at the Banff Centre, Canada.
Jennifer is currently based in Toronto, where she is a Rebanks Family Fellow of the Glenn Gould School of Music. She graduated from the Royal Academy of Music, London, in 2014, where she was awarded a Master of Arts in Violin Performance, along with the prestigious Dip. RAM accolade.
